VinFast, a Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer, announced record-breaking sales figures for October 2024, solidifying its position as the leading automotive brand in Vietnam. The company delivered over 11,000 EVs domestically, contributing to a total of 51,000 EVs sold since the beginning of the year. This achievement highlights VinFast’s rapid growth and dominance in the Vietnamese market, marking a significant milestone for the country’s automotive industry.Records 21% M-o-M growth

VinFast’s remarkable sales performance in October represents a 21% increase compared to September 2024. This surge in sales propelled the company to the top of the automotive market in Vietnam, surpassing established competitors. This achievement is particularly noteworthy as VinFast transitioned to an all-electric brand just two years ago.

What led to this success?

The company’s success can be attributed to several factors, including strong consumer demand for electric vehicles, a robust domestic production capacity, and an expanding network of dealerships and charging stations across Vietnam. VinFast’s commitment to innovation and its strategic focus on the electric vehicle market have positioned the company as a key player in Vietnam’s transition towards sustainable transportation.

“Achieving this milestone is, first and foremost, thanks to the support of hundreds of thousands of VinFast customers—those who have pioneeringly backed a young Vietnamese brand, who have shown patience in using our products, and have provided invaluable feedback to improve VinFast’s products and services from the start,” stated Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of Vingroup and CEO of VinFast Global.

He expressed his gratitude to VinFast’s customers for their unwavering support, acknowledging their role in the company’s success. He emphasized that customer feedback has been instrumental in driving product and service improvements.

With a substantial number of pre-orders already in place, VinFast is well-positioned to maintain its market leadership in the coming months.
